Group carefully the eyelets to form continuous diamond lace knitting pattern. You can have multiple stripes of odd number of knitted diamond rows (3 in the picture) divided by 2 rows of garter stitch. If you you are not that much into knitting laces you may try very easy to do knit & purl stitch that forms similar diamonds shapes. Skill level: 3/4 skill-3

Diagram:

You’ll need multiple of 8 + 2 edge stitches.
Repeat the pattern between the arrows until desired width is reached.
Work the right side following the diagram. Purl all the stitches on the wrong side.

Row by row instructions:

Row 1: edge st, * k2, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, (sl1 kwise, k next st, psso), k1 * Repeat between *s to last st, edge st
Wrong side (rows 2, 4, 6, etc.): Purl all the stitches
Row 3: edge st, * k1, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, (sl1 kwise, k next st, psso) *. Repeat between *s to last st, edge st
Row 5: edge st, * k3tog, yo, k5, yo *. Repeat between *s to last st, edge st
Row 7: edge st, * k1, yo, (sl1 kwise, k next st, psso), k3, k2tog, yo *. Repeat between *s to last st, edge st
Row 9: edge st, * k1, yo, (sl1 kwise, k next st, psso), k3, k2tog, yo *. Repeat between *s to last st, edge st
Row 11: edge st, * k1, yo, (sl1 kwise, k next st, psso), k3, k2tog, yo *. Repeat between *s to last st, edge st
Row 13: edge st, * k2, yo, (sl1 kwise, k next st, psso), k1, k2tog, yo, k1 *. Repeat between *s to last st, ed st
Row 15: edge st, * k3, yo, k3tog, yo, k2 *. Repeat between *s to last st, edge st
Repeat rows 1 through 16
