Diamond knit & purl stitch. This diamond knitting pattern or rather rhombus like pattern is also referred to as “Diamond Brocade”. It is formed by slightly raised stitches. It is an easy-to-do knit & purl stitch; just pay attention and count carefully when knitting!

If you feel confident to knit a lace you may try Diamond lace stitch .

Skill Level: 2/4 skill-2

Diagram:

You’ll need multiple of 13 stitches + 2 edge stitches.
Repeat the pattern between the arrows until desired width is reached.
Work the right and the wrong side following the diagram.

    The chart is for a different stitch pattern than the one in the directions and in the photo.
